ARS-ARGENTICA was founded in 2010 as a service offering by Punto Foto Group by Karl Bielser s.a.s., which focused on the commercial side. At that time, the digital revolution was causing the dismantling of photographic laboratories and studios, while silver photography was experiencing a resurgence. While it certainly had different prerogatives and volumes, it was under a promising new star.

FOTOGRAFISCHE WERKE MAILAND, on the other hand, was founded in 2017 as a company dedicated to establishing an interface between manufacturers all around the world, especially those of photosensitive material, and the end consumer. Its activities range from the sourcing of film, photosensitive material in general, and its packaging, to the acquisition and management of developing, printing, and image processing equipment.

Nothing more logical and natural than passing the baton of Ars-Argentica to FWM. The services we offer are varied, yet both specific and exclusive, with a highly professional approach:

• Development of negatives and slides in black and white, color, and all formats (or almost all)
• Scans
• Black and white and color prints
• Transfer from digital files to black and white and color film, both negatives and slides, from 35 mm to 8x10"
• Digitization of 8mm, S/8, and 16mm Cine films, from video tapes, and various media
• Converting of film and photographic paper
